The Warning Stuns With Electrifying Set at a Sold Out Aztec Theater

Sister trio The Warning ripped through the Aztec Theater on Tuesday night as part of their Keep Me Fed world tour. The band has seen a meteoric rise in success over the past few years, gracing some of the biggest stages in heavy music, including Rock am Ring, Wacken, and Riot Fest. Opening the night was another sibling trio: Speed of Light, hailing from Santa Monica.

The night began with concertgoers wrapped around the block as they waited for doors to open at the 1,500-capacity venue. People from all walks of life were present—from die-hard metalheads to suburban families, with children sporting The Warning merch. It was a vivid reminder of how the band has become a gateway into the heavy music genre, while also solidifying its place as one of the leading rock acts to emerge from Mexico.

Speed of Light were explosive. Mixing nu-metal with hardcore influences, the trio has built its own reputation, having toured with Bad Religion and played notable festivals like Warped Tour and Punk Rock Bowling. Their current run with The Warning is just another testament to their growing presence. Concertgoers were blown away by their performance and the high energy they brought to the stage.

Before The Warning’s set, a message was projected on screen:
“Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Texas flood victims and their loved ones. Our hearts go out to all of you.”

The band opened with the new album’s first track, “Six Feet Deep.” The crowd’s chants of “Warning! Warning! Warning!” were deafening as the packed venue roared in unison. The setlist included fan favorites like “Hell You Call a Dream,” “HURT,” “CHOKE,” and “Money,” before closing out with the anthemic “Automatic Sun.” “We’re so happy to be back again!” Dani said. “San Antonio is like our second home away from home, even if we’re just a few hours away from home”

It’s undeniable that the power these sisters wield is only continuing to grow. Alejandra’s thunderous yet collected, cool yet heavy low end, Paulina’s frenetic drumming paired with melodic vocals, and Dani’s scorching riffs and commanding presence form a perfect storm. The Warning’s rise isn’t owed to TikTok views or viral trends—it’s a result of years of hard work and persistence. They've built their reputation organically, not through industry shortcuts, but through sheer talent and grit, building since their own childhood—earning every bit of success.
